NATURE and SCOPE Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this position is accountable for inside sales responsibilities at any of our Brooklin facilities. Direct functions include but are not limited to:· Primary contact between the customer and the company· Order taking and entry· Product and service knowledge· Office administration dutiesThe CSR will also be responsible for ensuring they follow the Company Health & Safety Policies and that they are followed by any customer entering our grounds.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES1. Serve as the primary contact between the customer and the company, handling both inbound calls and walk-in customers with exceptional levels of customer service.2. Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.3. High level of communication with all departments and customers.4. Check stock and yard facilities for available inventory and coordinate with the Production Coordinator to arrange for transfers if required.5. General sales and office administration duties.6. Assist Outside Sales Rep.’s and Management with enquires on customers and products, reporting as needed.7. Ad hoc projects as required.8. Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and the Company Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities. Promote company’s safety vision.PRIMARY INTERACTIONSThe CSR will be the liaison between the Customer and the Company. There will be interaction between the CSR and various office personnel, the Operations Manager and the Sales Manager.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE· Minimum academic level is a secondary school diploma, prefer post-secondary education in marketing or business. Post-secondary education in Engineering an asset.· Minimum of one (1) year technical sales experience· Knowledge of precast concrete products an assetCOMPETENCIES and ABILITIES · Excellent verbal and written communication skills required as are strong customer service focus skills· Ability to work quickly, with attention to detail· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, strong overall personal computer skills· Proficient in ERP programs such as Infor or SAP· Strong ability to prioritize tasks, attentive to detail and positive attitude· Ability to work independently with strong organizational and multi-task skills· Focus and attention to provide and motivate growth throughout the sales department to help meet and exceed sales targets.Brooklin Concrete is committed to accommodating people with disabilities as part of the hiring process.
