The Ross family takes pride in providing compassionate, quality patient care.Position SummaryThe Emergency Department unit manager reports to the Director of Critical Care and promotes, facilitates, and manages the unit environment in such a way that patients receive exceptional care. Exceptional care will be evidence based, safe, effective, efficient (well organized), and will provide a positive care experience for patients and families. The unit manager is a key part of the health care team providing leadership in the management of human fiscal resources. The unit manager will foster a cohesive and motivated team and serve as an ambassador for the team(s).As the unit manager for the Emergency Department, you will be accountable for facilitating clinical excellence, leadership, and management leading to the delivery of patient centered, quality emergency services acute care. Your leadership demonstrates creativity, innovation, flexibility and professional knowledge suitable to the interdisciplinary environment.
