This is a working Supervisor Position where you will also be responsible for Line Cooking and Banquet Cooking when required.Safe Food Handlers CertificateFirst Aid CertificateSmart Serve (Asset)Must have own transportationWage or Salary Negotiable3 Years Kitchen Experience (Manager or Supervisory roll an asset)1) Supervises and coordinates activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel and purchases or requisitions foodstuffs and kitchen supplies: Plans or participates in planning menus, preparing and apportioning foods, and utilising food surpluses and leftovers.2) Over see all Banquets (Food for Golf Tournaments or Private Events.3) Supervises non cooking personnel, such as KITCHEN HELPER, DISHWASHER to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.4) Supervises Cooks and tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.5) Supervises workers engaged in inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies.6) Purchases foodstuffs, kitchen supplies, and equipment, or requisitions them from PURCHASING AGENT.7) Trains new workers.8) Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.9) May set prices to be charged for food items.10) May meet General Manager, customers, or client group to resolve menu inconsistencies or to plan menus for special occasions.11) Help in weekly and monthly scheduling of Kitchen staff for Restaurant & Banquets.Benefits:
