Komatsu supports a myriad of markets, including housing, infrastructure, water, pipeline, minerals, automobile, aerospace, electronics and medical, through its many brands and subsidiaries, including Joy, P&H, Montabert, Modular Mining Systems, Hensley Industries, NTC, and Gigaphoton.Job OverviewThe Truck Driver position will play a critical role in transporting materials between Komatsu facilities for production needs as well as vendor material transfers. The Truck Driver will load, unload and drive the flat bed truck within the city of Sudbury to Komatsu sites, vendor sites and potentially customer sites as required.Key Job ResponsibilitiesDrive company owned flatbed trucks to perform deliveries and pickups of material;Complete required pre-inspection reports;Load, secure and unload all materials including strapping down loads and operating a forklift when appropriate;Maintain and verify all paperwork included with deliveries and pickups of material;General labour and warehouse duties as assigned.Qualifications/RequirementsValid G class drivers license or above with a clean driving record;Minimum of 2 years previous experience driving commercial vehicles including loading/strapping/packaging and unloading material;High school diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution;Knowledge of CVOR legislation including hours of service and documentation requirements;Previous large forklift operation experience required, valid forklift operator certification is an asset.Additional InformationKomatsu Mining Corp. is an equal opportunity employer that offers an excellent benefit package, continual focus on training and development, and a financially sound company in a growing industry.Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.Quick Apply
