Our highly skilled employees strive to meet the constantly changing demands of the agriculture and construction industries through dedication, knowledge of their products, and a deep understanding of their customers’ specific requirements.Purpose of the Role:As our Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the face of PRAIRIE AG out in the field. You’ll conduct on-site visits to cultivate customer relationships, deliver parts, drive service bookings, and uncover new sales opportunities. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and retention while fueling incremental parts and service revenue for PRAIRIE AG.Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagementamp; Relationship Building:

  • Serve as the trusted advisor for active key accounts within your Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Conduct at least 10-20 high–quality customer connections per week, with 75% of your time spent in the field.
  • Spend time in “Discovery” listening to customers’ operational pressures, plans, and goals.
  • Match PRAIRIE AG’s parts, service, and equipment offerings to each customer’s needs.
Parts Deliveryamp; Promotion:
  • Coordinate with Branch Parts Departments before territory visits; deliver in-stock and ordered parts directly to customers.
  • Educate customers on current parts specials and promotions to drive incremental sales.
  • Relay back customer feedback and inventory needs to the Parts Teams to optimize stock levels.
  • Follow up on major parts orders (over $5,000) to ensure satisfaction and identify additional needs.
Serviceamp; Warranty Management:
  • Review unit warranty expiration reports monthly; proactively notify customers of upcoming expirations.
  • Schedule warranty inspections and labour repairs; promote service specials and extended warranty options.
  • Follow up on major service purchases (over $20,000) to secure repeat business and referrals.
Sales Lead Generation:
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and provide qualified leads for equipment upgrades, new unit purchases, and high-value repairs.
  • Follow up on major equipment purchases (over $250,000) to ensure post-sale satisfaction and uncover further opportunities.
Planningamp; Reporting:
  • Dedicate 10% of your weekly time to territory planning: review reports, coordinate with Parts, Sales, and Service teams, and set weekly sales goals.
  • Create and execute a weekly call/visit plan across your geography.
  • Submit a detailed summary of calls and visits to Branch Managers, including customer feedback, action items, and sales metrics.
Teamamp; Community Engagement:

  • Act as a brand ambassador in local agricultural communities and events.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with all branch teams in your region.
  • Maintain a clean driving abstract; travel in‑the region is critical to this role.
Qualificationsamp; Skills:
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience in parts, service, or equipment sales (agricultural preferred).
  • Strong communication, active‑listening, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Proven ability to plan strategically, execute efficiently, and report results.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
