Job Description

Category: Advertising & Marketing CommunicationsJob Title: Account Manager | TD Canada Trust, Sysco Canada, Telus Real Estate (not limited to)Salary: $55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience, full-timeHybrid: Remote 75% and in-person 25% (subject to change, must be able to reliably commute to London, ON as required)Summary: As the Account Manager, you will be an integral member of the Agency by providing support and assistance in managing the Client’s business and ensuring that day to day activities run smoothly. With regular Client contact, the Account Manager sets the tone for how the Clients are managed by assuring focus on key Client objectives. The Account Manager will become familiar with and have working knowledge of the Client’s brands and markets, and the role that the agency plays in supporting Client’s business development objectives. The primary focus is on servicing day-to-day Agency needs with a strong focus on execution. The Account Manager actively contributes and supports the Executive Leadership team.Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Management

  • Develops and monitors concise scope of work proposals, work-back schedules and budgets
  • Manages accounts and responds to day-to-day client and project requirements, engages BOOM Leadership team, Client, media, and production teams as required
  • Responsible for overall project health, bottom-line and campaign KPIs
  • Prepares and submits weekly Client status reports (daily Hot Sheets as required)
  • Leads the development of creative and tactical briefs
  • Supports in preparation for Client presentations
  • Accurately relays Client direction to creative team for project implementation, revisions
  • Active participant in strategic planning and ELT meetings as required
  • Reviews relevant competitive materials, industry literature and publications and provides updates to team and Client
Financial & Budget Management
  • Manages job estimates and approval process
  • Monitors and manages job activity and costs, regularly ensures budgets are maintained and, promptly revises estimates as needed
  • Maintains a Budget Control Report (BCR)
  • Attends meetings (internal and Client-facing) and assists in the development of monthly financial reports, including tracking of the variance between actual hours versus estimated hours
  • Approves vendor and freelancer invoices and submits to finance
  • Tracks Agency and Executive Leadership team’s expense and submits to finance
  • Tracks and approves monthly hour/fee reports
Administrative Support to the Executive Leadership team
  • Coordinates and attends Agency meetings as required and manages contact reports
  • Assists with screening and interviewing potential staff, and freelancers
  • Assists with onboarding new Clients, staff and freelancers
  • Distribution of Press Releases and booking of interviews for Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
  • Supports occasional grant seeking, writing applications and reporting as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Familiar or experience working with Indigenous communities or a genuine willingness to learn
  • Post Secondary Education or certification in Business Administration or Marketing an asset
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in a similar function
  • Knowledge of creative processes and production for fully integrated campaigns including but not limited to TV, Video, OOH, Websites, Online Media, and Social.
  • Collaborative and confident approach to creative projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with an aptitude in developing and maintaining long-term business relationships.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate
  • Budget management and financial acumen required
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
  • Experience with Canva and Adobe Suite an asset
  • This position is based in London, Ontario and is open to Canadian residents only.
  • Remote work 75% (subject to change to in-person as required), in-person Agency meetings and in-person Client meetings %25 - travel within the GTA and outside Ontario may be required
