Job Description

Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the London Ontario office:Associate Client ExecutiveWhat can you expectIn this role, you will be responsible for the support of senior level Client Executives. You will be responsible for growing satisfied client relationships, supporting and acquiring new clients and the delivery of the firm’s resources for the overall benefit of the client and the firm. We will count on you to:
  • Maintain and expand low-risk accounts from a small book of business and assist senior level colleagues with maintaining and expanding large or complex accounts to refine and develop technical and managerial sales skills as well as gain exposure.
  • Collaborate with senior level colleagues and project specialists to identify key decision makers, account needs and underlying risks to determine potential services, products and combinations that will best serve and address client business objectives, business compliance so as to expand accounts.
  • Conduct research and analyses to target new buyer hubs and gain insight as to expansion opportunities strategizing internal offerings and market trends to ideally institutionalize accounts within the business.
  • Analyze and conceptualize collected project, account and/or market quantitative and qualitative data into a viable offering for proposal work for personal or superior colleagues accounts.
  • Assist in developing custom solutions to address account and/or prospective account needs for a complex account and effectively presents or assists with presentations for all solutions to senior colleagues or accounts/prospects.
  • Work to ensure all managed accounts are in good standing and addresses escalated issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner so as to ensure operational excellence and relationship satisfaction.
  • Nourish and grow professional network within client organizations.
  • Attend and participate in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.
What you need to have:
  • 2-5 years’ work experience within an insurance and risk consulting environment.
  • RIBO license
  • Strong business acumen including a well-rounded knowledge of general business function, finance and issues.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization including the ‘C’ Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Strong technical abilities including coverages/wordings and comfortable drafting and updating submissions.
  • Confident in communications with clients and underwriters.
