Job Description

Our group of dental practices is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, passionate and proficient bookkeeping specialist. This is a unique opportunity as we are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to join us in shaping an ethical, responsible, innovative and optimized approach to patient care and employment. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, experienced, dependable, accountable and has strong communication skills. We desire someone who is motivated by having a positive impact on their community, by self-leadership and systems development, and by growth in every sense.Considered Candidates will have the following:

  • 3+ years bookkeeping/financial experience
  • Experience working with Quickbooks and Ceridian PowerPay
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel within 1 hour radius of London
  • Comfort with technology and ability to work from home
  • High degree of organization, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Motivated self-starter
Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
  • Develop system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring, reconciling, remitting and ensuring remuneration of accounts payable, contractors, and employees
  • Maintain historical records by filing documents.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Comply with federal, provincial, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
