We are committed to safety, quality, and operational efficiency in all our processes.As a Licensed Millwright, you will be responsible for the daily completion of production processes within assigned work areas, ensuring compliance with plant standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and financial performance. You will perform general maintenance work to install, maintain, and troubleshoot process equipment and structures, contributing to the overall productivity of our manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance and Repair: Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on process equipment, ensuring proper installation and functionality. This includes welding, pipe fitting, pump work, heating, and plumbing.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Monitor compliance with plant standards for quality and efficiency.Operational Support: Support daily operations by troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to production.Equipment Operation: Operate machinery and heavy equipment as needed, including forklifts (must be certified).Trade Skills: Utilize maintenance trades skills, including electrical work, machining, welding, fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, and pump and piping system management.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed, including inventory management for maintenance parts and supplies.Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding maintenance needs and challenges.Qualifications:Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, stooping, climbing ladders, opening/closing valves, shoveling, and working in confined spaces or elevated areas.Certifications: Forklift certification is required. Additional certifications in welding and other trades are preferred.Trade Experience: Previous experience in maintenance repair operations (MRO) and/or material requirement planning (MRP) is advantageous.Technical Skills: Training and experience in automation control, boiler, and steam systems are a plus.Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings effectively.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
