Job Description

Dream Exteriors Canada is a full exterior service company offering complete services in Windows & Doors, Siding, Custom Siding, Aluminum and Roofing for homeowners and builders across Southwestern Ontario since 2015.The Operations Manager has a ‘hands-on’ role with primary responsibility for creating policies and procedures, scheduling, executing production and acting as a team leader to ensure staff meet their potential and the team functions at peak efficiency.The successful candidate will work to continuously improve process flow, develop staff, train new employees, as well as provide reporting and analysis.Key Job Elements

  • Plans, schedules, assigns and prioritizes tasks/assignments to achieve the performance of all work and contract requirements
  • Monitor assigned work activities to ensure implementation dates are met
  • Provides accurate daily/weekly/monthly status updates on all work activities within the team
  • Confidently make decisions to help meet safety, quality and production goals
  • Collaborate with appropriate departments and support teams to solve problems and respond to concerns/issues
  • Direct the work of the shift’s team to build efficiency, cross training, safer work practices
  • Monitor and evaluate potential team members, as well as interviewing potential candidates for hire
  • Maintain reporting as requested or required

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Goal oriented and able to work under demanding conditions
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision
