Job Description

Part-Time Elementary Math TutorThe Oxford Learning London, Byron location has an opening for an upbeat, passionate, committed, enthusiastic, and dynamic teacher who wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Our programs offer individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits.Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed and have a strong background in spoken and written English and be comfortable teaching Grade 1 up to Grade 8. Strong math skills are required.Our candidate must have:

  • Ability to work in an environment that yields fast-paced results
  • The ability to multitask, be flexible, and think on your feet
  • Vibrant personality, and enjoys interaction with young people
  • Dynamic, energetic, and outgoing personality
  • A dedicated and passionate teacher who thrives on seeing students succeed
  • Upbeat and willing to motivate children
  • Available Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30 pm
  • Specific Qualifications:
  • Experience in a teaching/tutoring environment
  • Experience working with children
  • Strong English language written and oral communication skills
  • University Degree
  • Strong math skills (familiar with math curriculum up to Grade 8)
