Job Description

Part Time High School Math TutorPart-Time High School Math TeacherOxford Learning London Byron is looking for an upbeat, dynamic part-time High School Math teacher who wants to work in a challenging and rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong background in Math, and must be comfortable teaching students in Grades 9 – 12 at all levels.Specifics are listed below.We focus on personal cognitive development and look for individuals who will honour Oxford Learnings teaching methods and philosophy in a fun environment.Our candidate must have:General Qualifications:

  • Available Mondays and Wednesday evenings until the end of June 2023
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral English communication skills
  • Possess great attention to detail
  • Impressive problem solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task with students in a small group
  • Passionate about working with students to help them achieve success
  • A proven record of being a contributing team member!
Specific Qualifications:
  • Experience in either teaching or tutoring (high school students)high levels of math
  • OCT certified is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience
  • Must have knowledge of the current Grade 9-12 math curriculum including but not limited to advanced functions, calculus, physics
  • Knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math curriculum, particularly senior maths including Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus, and Vectors
