Job Description

Position: On-Site Property Administrator Hours: 21 hours per week in London Ontario and 16 hours per week in Strathroy OntarioStarting Date: As soon as possibleDuties and Responsibilities :Reporting to Senior Staff, the On-Site Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the following duties are executed in accordance with good management practices and the policies and procedures established by the firm:1. receive and process market applications2. conduct credit and landlord checks as per board policy3. Keep units filled in a timely manner.4. complete income verification and rent calculations5. prepare lease6. maintain financial records on Quick Books and Sage 507. control of rents arrears8. strive to achieve cost savings for the property9. prepare cheques for execution by signing officers10. make deposits and pay invoices in a timely manner11. maintain filing systems12. attend board meeting, prepare written reports, agenda and minutes for Board meetings and ensure all required information is distributed to Board Members prior to meeting13. compile the information for the annual audit and work with the auditor to complete the audit and all associated forms14. other duties as assigned and as appropriate to the position.Qualifications1. Good computer skills.2. Must be proficient on Word.3. Good communication skills.4. Good conflict resolution skills.5. Able to work alone.6. Ability to commute/relocate:
  • London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • property administrator: 3 years (preferred)
