Job Description

We are searching for a passionate customer and team focused individual to join our team as a Shipper/ Receiver! This position is responsible for supporting supply chain operations with primary responsibilities revolving around inventory handling, shipping, receiving, inspecting, counting and picking.The successful candidate will work in a time-sensitive, team-oriented environment. This role needs somebody who is quick, flexible, and able to make decisions on their feet, while shifting priorities and working towards multiple deadlines.Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Inspection, receiving, documenting and serialization of products.
  • Organization of parts and inventory shelves including labeling.
  • Accurately locate and pick material for work orders.
  • Process and fill domestic and international shipments with all required paperwork necessary for customs and in accordance to the shipping schedules.
  • Ensure goods are properly packaged and reaching their destination within the specified time.
  • Provide reports relating to inventory and delivery issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience with inventory and shipping
  • Knowledge of custom laws for exporting goods
  • Familiarity of NAFTA certifications and of searching, establishing, and processing Harmonization Codes (Tariff Codes)
  • Skilled in using ERP and shipping software is an asset
  • Strong internal/ external customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and well organized
  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Quality and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to exercise good judgement and decision making.
