Posting PeriodOpen: August 10, 2022Deadline: August 16, 2022Non-UnionDepartment NameTechnology Solutions - Information Technology ServicesThis Technical Analyst role is focused primarily on systems administration in a Microsoft based enterprise environment. The Technical Analyst is the primary role in managing Azure based services, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft based collaboration tools, Windows Server Operating System, Active Directory, SQLServer and IIS administration. The Technical Analyst assists in the procurement and provision of new products to meet the clinical and administrative business needs of the London hospitals. The Technical Analyst provides an advanced level of support, including assistance in establishing vendor support contracts, and often provides 24/7 on-call support of critical infrastructure components.Regular Full-TimeHours of Work: 37.5 hours per weekRate of Pay: $37.35 per hour to $46.69 per hourQualifications

  • Successful completion of a three (3) year community college diploma in Computer Science or related field; Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • Three (3) years of relevant or related work experience required
  • Demonstrated advanced experience in managing and supporting Microsoft 365 tools including OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, etc.
  • Demonstrated advanced experience in managing Microsoft collaboration tools
  • Demonstrated advanced experience with Microsoft management tools such as Active Directory, use of Group Policies, System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Experience in PowerShell programming/scripting used for management of Windows based servers and services
  • Experience in managing Microsoft cloud services including an M365 tenant, Exchange Online and Azure resources
  • Demonstrated advanced experience with industry-standard Microsoft operating systems with an emphasis on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019
  • Demonstrated advanced experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Proficient knowledge in Windows 7, Windows 10 and macOS.
  • Proficient knowledge in modern networking infrastructure
  • Any current Microsoft, VMWare or Citrix certifications would be an asset
  • Ability to be on call and provide support in a 24x7x365 environment is mandatory
  • Experience with clinical processes, nomenclature, and the hospital environment an asset
  • Advanced skills in process-centric thinking

  • Advanced organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety

Immunization Requirements:
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
