About usSheldon Creek Dairy is a family owned and operated on farm production facility crafting dairy products and distributing them across Ontario.Seeking a driver for our family farm located in Loretto, OntarioThis position is responsible for delivering Sheldon Creek Dairy Products to various stores on daily delivery routes within a two hour radius from the farm in a company owned refrigerated cargo van.Our customers include many small to medium independent retail accountsThe ideal candidate will be able to perform quick in-store checks to ensure product availability, proper merchandising and date coding.Shifts are Tuesday 5:00am Start Wednesday 6:00am start and Thursdays 6:00am start. Must enjoy driving, experienced driver is an asset. Training will be provided consisting of shadowing and learning the complex duties required by the job.Salary: Start at $16/hourRoles and Responsibilities:

• Transport and deliver dairy products to many businesses on the various routes
• Load/Unloading of products onto delivery truck
• Operating large refrigeration truck and delivery vans
• Utilize dolly in transporting large orders safely and in a timely manner
• Handling inquiries and or concerns from management/customers professionally
• Representing the company, our brand, and values at all times while on duty
• Adhering to COVID-19 and regular business protocols

Required Skills:

• High level interpersonal and relationship building skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills required to maintain and excel in the handling of multiple products and orders simultaneously
• Ability to lift heavy cases up to 50 lbs each
• Ability to transport orders up to 300lbs with the use of a dolly
• Comfortable driving in Toronto
• Must be able to use a GPS
• Good knowledge of Ontario (delivery area is defined by a 2 hour radius from the Farm)
• Must have cell phone
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have a valid G driver’s license
• Clean drivers abstract mandatory
• MUST BE 25 or older to be on insurance
