This solo practice is located in a building with 6 other solo practitioners, and shares a waiting room area with two other solo physicians.The clinic space includes a fully-furnished administrative area with chart storage, includes three examining rooms and a separate office space. The lease is very responsible, and the physician would be responsible for hiring their own administrative staff.This practice currently has a large patient roster which an incoming physician would inherit, so no need to build from scratch.Clinic Address:159 Cobequid RdLower Sackville, NSB4C 0A2ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease preventionConsultation and referral to other medical practitioners’Act as a patient’s advocatePrescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinationsReport births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirementsExpected HoursThe practitioner’s in the building operate a walk-in clinic to support after-hour patient careThe incoming physician can join the walk-in clinic practice schedule if interestedQualificationsEligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)Physicians in Nova Scotia provide fulfilling patient care which embraces family life, professional development and community involvement.
