Job Description

We’re seeking a qualified sales representative to help us sell the products and services that our customers have grown to rely on! The Installed Sales Representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase what we offer at Payzant! Home Hardware is Canadas largest independent hardware and building supplies retailer, we pride ourselves on having a supportive, dedicated workforce to provide quality products and exceptional service. As the Installed Sales Representative you will work with clients as they work through their new construction or renovation dreams!Major Responsibilities

  • Work in compliance with laws and regulations, attend and complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents and take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Must have excellent customer relations and communication
  • Willingness to use all available assets (including own vehicle, to Self-Generated Sales. This includes, but is not limited to, door knocking, cold calling, home shows, marketing etc.)
  • Assign leads to appropriate contractors and submit accordingly.
  • Follow up with leads and customers to provide the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Adhere o all sales activity goals and targets, as set by management.
  • Sources and maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
  • Creates and conducts sales calls, & proposals/quotes to clients.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedure.
  • Experience with various computer programs and efficient/effective use of technology.
  • Attends product knowledge training as it becomes available or needed.
  • Coordinate with all applicable parties, such as installers, contractors, homeowners, etc. to work through and finalize projects.
  • Work through customer issues, complaints, concerns, etc. and ensure that any and all customer complaints are handled in a timely manner and reported to the manager.
    Requirements:
    • Problem solver who can work with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Experience in sales is preferred.
    • A knowledge of lumber and building materials, and the construction process is an asset.
