E7C 0C6 (506)739-5669Little Feathers Early Learning Center is looking for a caring, compassionate Child Care Educator who has experience caring for children ages six months to twelve years. We are committed to providing top quality care and education for children who are enrolled in our program. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. If you are a patient, caring professional with a background in child care, we hope you will get in touch about this position.Responsibilities· Creating lesson plans, activities and maintaining a safe classroom environment· Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities.· Monitor/teach children during indoor and outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning· Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concord· Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action· Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children· Collaborate with other colleagues· Adhere with teaching the Curriculum as established by the Province of New Brunswick· Help serve meals and monitor children during lunch time· 40hrs a weekQualifications and skills· Bachelor of Education or Early Childhood Education Diploma. If you do not possess these qualifications, you must be willing to take the training requirements· Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods· Methodical and creative· Patience, flexibility and love for children· Strong communication and time management skills· Must possess valid CPR and First Aid certifications· Caring and compassionate attitude a must· Being bilingual is a plusConditions: Full Time position (40hrs a week)Salary: Start $16.00, $19.00 with the 90 hours training and $23.47$ with ECE Diploma er Certificate, Bachelor’s degreesJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From $16.00 per hourSchedule:

Experience:

• Cooking: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
