The Chinook School Division requires Educational Assistant at Capeland Hutterian School. Capeland Hutterian School is a colony school with 16 students. It is located 50 KM north east of Swift Current, SK.Start Date: November 18, 2024 Qualifications:

• Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
• Ability and experience in working with children
• Physical ability to work with active students
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
• A positive and flexible attitude to change
• Willingness to respect the Hutterian culture

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
• Work one on one with students and within a classroom setting
• Willingness to accompany a student on the bus to and from school
• Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills
• Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan
