Job Description

Job Title: Technical Project Manager - Automationamp; SCADA/Ignition Systems Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Engineering / Project ManagementOverview:We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a deep background in automation, engineering, and SCADA/Ignition systems. With a strong project pipeline ahead, this full-time remote role is critical for leading the delivery of industrial automation and controls initiatives across various sectors.Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical project management, especially in automation, controls, or industrial software environments
  • Hands-on expertise with SCADA, Ignition, controls engineering, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
  • Strong technical foundation-ideally someone who hasquot;done the work quot; in SCADA/controls/MES roles before moving into project management
  • Demonstrated experience with resource management, including team planning, workload distribution, and capacity forecasting
  • Exceptional communication, team leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage remote, cross-functional teams and drive accountability across multiple projects
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate automation and controls projects from planning through to completion
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment on scope, design, and execution
  • Provide technical input and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, particularly around SCADA/Ignition systems
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded
  • Troubleshoot issues proactively and maintain momentum across all project phases
  • Manage project resources effectively, including team allocation, scheduling, and workload balancing, to ensure optimal delivery across concurrent initiatives
