Job Description

This includes maintaining a clean and organized work station, ensuring food quality and safety, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to assigned recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure food quality and prevent cross-contamination
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, and communicate any needs to the supervisor
  • Clean and sanitize work stations, utensils, and equipment, following established guidelines
  • Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure food safety standards are met
  • Assist with the plating and presentation of meals to ensure aesthetic appeal and proper portioning
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and principles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
