Are you interested in working for a company that offers both a challenging work environment and a rewarding career path The Woodland’s Team at our Manning, Alberta division has an opportunity for a:WOODLANDS PLANNING SUPERVISORAs the Planning Supervisor you will be primarily responsible for FMA planning activities, land use activities, Environmental Certification as well as a variety of other duties.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervision of commitments made as part of our Forest Management Plan
  • Part of Management Planning Team
  • Development of General Development Plan
  • Assist in Operational Plan development
  • Supervision of contractors
  • Communication with Government of Alberta and various stakeholder groups
  • Management of third-party Land Use requests
  • Management of Division Environmental Certification program
  • Management of GIS records and general Divisional data
Required Qualifications
  • Possess a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) or Registered Professional Technologist (RPFT) designation with the AAFMP, or be eligible for registration
  • Strong proficiency with GIS applications
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Be a dynamic, career-minded individual
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated with proven organizational skills
