Permanent Bus DriverMaple CreekCompetition #3051CUPEThe Chinook School Division is proud to serve nearly 6,000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student-centered teachers and support staff. Start Date: As soon as possibleDesired Qualifications:
  • Bus Driver’s endorsement (School Bus “S”) class 5 – Chinook will provide training to support candidates in obtaining a “S” endorsement and will reimburse successful candidates for all associated expenses upon successful completion.
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Ability to deal tactfully and cooperatively with public, students, staff
  • Good physical condition
  • Basic computer skills
Duties (may include but are not limited to):
  • Transporting students safely
  • Daily driving when students are in attendance
  • Daily disinfecting and cleaning of bus
  • Adhere to following safe bus driving procedures
  • Comply with all Personal Protective Equipment Procedures

  • Pay Range: $13,775.41 to $14,995.98 base wage + $0.206 per KM (over 80 km driven) and bus expense allowances
