ABOUT BURBBurb is bringing the rich culture of BC Bud to the world through our brand portfolio of iconic collaborations and design-forward retail experiences. With a network of retail stores, a cut/sew apparel line and a weekly podcast hosted by cultural icon, David Hershkovits (founder of papermag.com(http://papermag.com/)), we’re looking for driven and passionate people to join our team as we continue to expand our retail footprint and set the bar for cannabis brands across the globe.THE OPPORTUNITYWith the recent announcement of cannabis delivery in BC going live for retailers on July 15, 2021, Burb is looking to fill a hybrid role of part-time delivery and in-store budtending. We are looking for eager and hardworking individuals to join the team immediately and jump into this new role based out of our Port Coquitlam location. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDelivery Responsibilities

  • Deliver cannabis to customers throughout the Lower Mainland while providing our world class Burb customer experience
  • Loading cannabis orders into a company vehicle and managing multiple deliveries at one time using a variety of applications
  • Execute delivery procedures and SOP’s including customer verification and ID confirmation
  • Utilize the internal platform to plan deliveries throughout the Lower Mainland
  • Navigate different terrain and weather including multi-story buildings, private homes, and/or other delivery sites.
In-Store Responsibilities
  • Build lifelong relationships between customers and our brand by prioritizing connection through authentic product education
  • Staying up to date on cannabis product knowledge including the complete range or new and current products available
  • Use of a point of sale (POS) and other systems in a retail environment
  • Ensure the store is clean, bright and organized to welcome clients in a comfortable and inviting environment.
  • Communicate with teammates to ensure optimal customer experience, ensuring fellow Burbtenders do the same
  • Articulate areas of the business where we experience bottlenecks and suggest strategies for resolving them
WHO ARE YOU
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills
  • A positive attitude and are a team player
  • A passion for cannabis or cannabis background
  • Strong retail or hospitality experience
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 21+ years of age
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license
  • Selling it Right Certificate
  • 3 years of driving experience is preferred
  • Previous experience working in a cannabis retail space is considered an asset
  • Employment offer subject to driver’s abstract and successful background check
  • Ability to work flexible hours in all weather conditions including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to safely operate, load and unload a full-size vehicle
  • Knowledge of the Lower Mainland and routes throughout the city
