The services Flower Stream Landscape Ltd. provides include Retaining Walls, Interlocking Pavers, New Lawns, Cedar Fences, Wood Decks, Sundecks, Aluminum Railings, Arbours, Trellises, Ponds, Fountains, Waterfalls, Streams, Planting, Trimming, Pruning, Clean Up, Plant Sale, Bobcat Services.We are seeking candidates to join us in the coming year. Previous landscape experience is preferred but not required as we can provide you paid onsite training. If you are willing to learn and challenge yourself, welcome to apply!Title: Landscape labourerResponsibilities:

  • Work closed with site supervisor in projects
  • Install paving stones, new lawns, cedar fences, wood decks, etc.
  • Construct concrete block/wood retaining walls
  • Using proper manual tools like rakes, shovels, and picks to complete softscape installation following guidance garden best
  • Operate lawn care equipment such as lawnmowers and line trimmers
  • Weeding garden beds
  • Operate leaf blowers
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site
  • Loading and unloading material using shovels, wheel barrows
  • Work as a heavy equipment assistant
  • Attend training classes and seminars as requested
  • Transport material to work site as required
  • Other duties assigned by the site supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Reliability and punctuality is expected and required
  • Highly motivated, self-driven and detailed oriented
  • Able to lift and carry at least 80 lbs
  • Physical demands require constantly moving, walking, stooping, kneeling or crouching
  • CSA approved footwear, and weather appropriate clothing
  • Willing to work all year around
  • Must have own vehicle to get themselves to difference job sites, good driving skills with good record
  • Must be able to workoutdoors in all weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation
Working hours:
  • 8 hours per day
  • Day shift (Starts as early as 7:30am, OR ends as late as 6:30pm)
  • Monday to Friday
  • May work overtime during summer peak season
Compensation:
  • $21 per hour, paid semimonthly
  • $31.5 per hour for overtime work more than 40 hours per week
