LITTLE GARDEN MONTESSORI CENTER in MAPLE RIDGE is seeking a Speech and Language Patologist to work Part-Time in our beautiful Center located in central Maple Ridge.We are looking for an amazing individual that will be responsible for the guidance and caring of an extrodinary child within our Childcare Center. This employee will be responsible for planning and implementing curriculum for children they are working with, and for attending planning and team meetings, as well as working cohesively with the other qualified staff members.We are looking for qualified individuals to begin working as soon as Wednesday January 4th 2023 or the following week Tuesday January 10th.Our Center is hiring for the following shift; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am until 12:00pm. For the right individual we would be interested in hiring for a more permanent part-time or permanent full-time position with our Center.- You MUST have valid Speech and Lanugage tranining - An Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Educator Assistance license from Victoria woudl be an asset to this position or willing to obtain.- Must love working with children of all ages.- Must have excellent communication skills, with all co-workers, management and parents of children that you are working with.- Must be a positive person with a positive attitude towards working in a childcare- Must bring new ideas.- Must be a mature, reliable and dedicated person.- Must enjoy planning and implementing activities that are age appropriate for the children left in our care.You must have:- Speech and Language Training, - Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Educator Assistants license from Victoria (THIS IS AN ASSET but not required)- At least 6 months to one year of experience in a previous child care Center or working with children under 6 years old.- Experience with family relationships and dynamics; and with a variety of cultures- Well developed interpersonal skills, including oral and written communicationWage being offered:-Depending on experience between $20-$22/hour *If you have a valid Early Childhood Educators Licence: We also provide the BC Government Wage Enhancement Grant Incentive - This is an additional $4 more per hour.
