Job Description

Warehouse + Production Responsibilities

  • Manage team of one shipper and one customer service rep
  • Deal with customer complaints
  • Place orders for products and supplies
  • Keep track of returns and deal with effectively
  • Manage inventory and forecast product ordering needs
  • Manage receipts and expenses
  • Write and submit purchase orders
  • General production shop clean-up
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Supervise all of a warehouse’s daily activities while working to maximize efficiency and minimize staff overtime
  • Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing procedures and policies
  • Analyze logistics data to increase productivity and aid in loss prevention
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
  • Implement operational policies and procedures
  • Implement and oversee security operations
Day-to-Day Duties
  • Manage inventory control and quality assurance, productivity and logistics
  • Motivate, organize, and discipline staff
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of warehouse goods
  • Inspect, maintain, and manage warehouse equipment and vehicles
  • Keep detailed records of warehouse activities
  • Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
  • Ensure safety of staff
Requirements
  • Warehouse management an asset
  • Experience with Shopify or other Ecommerce platforms
  • Good communication, organizational, time management skills
  • Dependable and Reliable
  • Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills
  • Must have reliable vehicle for product deliveries
  • Valid Class 5 license
  • Experience with forklift not mandatory but preferred
Forklift certifications would be an assetPhysical demands and abilities
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100lbs
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per yearFlexible Language Requirement:
  • French not required
Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Maple Ridge, BC: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
Experience:
  • warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
