Job Description

Subsidiary: Miller Paving LimitedLocation: Markham, ONSummary:The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing day to day support to the Human Resources Team. The successful candidate will work closely with operational HR representatives, Managers and employees.As an HR Assistant, You Will:

  • Provide support to HR to ensure tasks on hand are completed efficiently, timely and accurately
  • Contribute to positive employee experience by responding to requests for letters of employment, safety equipment reimbursement and other general enquiries
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of announcements, job postings etc.
  • Support recruitment activities such as arranging interviews, reference checking, etc.
  • Participate in HR projects
What Youll Bring:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at various levels
  • Customer focused approach with proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
