Are you ready to join usWhat we need:As a member of our interprofessional team, you will be responsible for the nutritional assessment, care plan implementation and evaluation for a variety of acute and subacute adult patient populations at Markham Stouffville Hospital’s Markham site and RCC site . You will utilize your sound knowledge in clinical dietetics to meet patient/family needs while delivering the highest standard of evidence-based care. Your excellent clinical leadership skills will assist you in working with both the interprofessional and Clinical Dietitian teams. You will utilize your excellent knowledge of best-practices in nutrition care to provide acute nutrition assessment, treatment, coordination of nutrition care services to bridge your patient’s transition from hospital to home and effectively contribute to quality improvement.Work Schedule:The successful candidate will need to be available to work Tuesday, Friday and rotating Sundays. Please note that schedules are subject to change, depending on operational needs.Compensation:BAND M: $33.46 - $44.96 per hourWhat you bring to MSH:Current membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario, in good standingMembership with Dietitians of Canada (DC), preferredCNSC designation is an assetA minimum of 2 years clinical experience in nutrition care support of adult patient population in an acute care settingDemonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practiceExcellent assessment, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated competency with EMR charting systems, CBORD, and associated computer skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a interprofessional teamAccess to own transportation to travel in between sitesDemonstrated good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain this same standardDemonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, Standards of Care, health and safety legislation, best practice, and completing relevant mandatory education as requiredMarkham Stouffville Hospital takes pride in serving some of Canada’s most diverse communities.
