Are you ready to join usWhat we are looking for:Reporting to the Patient Care Manager for Adult Diabetes Services and Inpatient Allied Health, the Clinical Leader for Inpatient Allied Health Disciplines will assist with the day-to-day operations of personnel across 9 health professions and 14 departments. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) scheduling and day-to-day supervision of staff; recruitment, coordination, and on-boarding of new staff; assisting with coordination and procurement of equipment; and other duties as assigned by the Patient Care Manager. The Clinical Leader will also be required to assist front-line staff by providing direct patient care within the scope of his/her profession, as needed. The Clinical Leader in a small hospital must build and understand the interrelationships between departments and strive for creative solutions to ensure high quality patient care. Your well-developed leadership and critical thinking skills, coupled with an outcomes-focused approach, will enable you to successfully lead and coordinate care within our services. You will be a self-directed health care professional and will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to the delivery of high quality, patient-focused interprofessional care.Compensation:BAND F: $42.71 - $53.32Schedule:Monday-Friday 0800-1600, *travel between sites maybe required*What you bring to Oak Valley Health

  • A member of an allied health or nursing profession with a demonstrated record of maintaining a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and reliability to practice within the scope of their profession and organization policies & procedures..
  • If a regulated health professional, in good standing with COTO, CPO, CDO, CNO, OCSWSSW, or CASLPO
  • A minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience in an acute or subacute care environment
  • A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role/related experience is an asset
  • Advanced clinical skills and certifications relevant to your clinical field
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organization/prioritization skills
  • Experience leading quality improvement projects within the ambulatory setting is an asset
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical operations within a community hospital setting including Emergency, Acute, Subacute and Ambulatory patient populations
  • Advanced knowledge of an interprofessional collaborative model of care in a community hospital setting,
  • Advanced knowledge of the RHPA, PHA and discipline-specific acts/scopes of practice setting is an asset
  • Proven excellent collaborative, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities with talents in complex analysis and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and support effective team building and functioning
  • Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
  • Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
