Monitor aged trial balance for assigned divisions to ensure timely payment of invoicesContact customers to request payment and follow up of open and past due balancesHandle disputed accounts and negotiates to bring payment into line with credit termsIdentify and help solve billing problems and questions, reconciliation and ticket investigationWork with Divisional Managers, Controllers and others to identify and solve potential collection problemsProcess new credit applications by obtaining sufficient information to access the creditworthiness of new and existing customersCredit monitoring and maintenance: monitor credit limits, credit risk and provide support to divisions by updating customer accounts with current payment informationAccount matching and adjustments of paymentsMaintain credit hold listsSwitchboard relief as requiredRequirements:2-3 years’ experience with commercial credit collection requiredExcellent customer service skillsEffective communication (written and verbal)Excellent telephone etiquetteExceptional computer skills, advanced knowledge of MS Excel and WordFamiliarity with credit reports and credit recommendationsGreat Plains Dynamics and JD Edwards experience, considered an assetExperience within the construction industry, considered an assetWe will contact candidates selected for an interview.
