This role leverages RDC processes and operation/management systems. The position will be a knowledgeable advocate to the RDC leaders and extended teams.Description:The Data and Cost Analyst professional performs monthly reconciliations for both country spending and Data Centers such as the following: quarterly and annual reporting, forecasts & actuals vs budgets and targets, prepares the Fall Plan coordination for expense. analyses financial reports, understands spending by expense on the ledger such as Labor, IT, travel, ICAs, DOUs, gross spending. The role will also handle interlocks with local and time zone leaders and finance teams, such as requests for capital and expense requirements. The Data and Cost Analyst coordinates and provides financial forecasting based on headcount tracking, hiring, backfills, and organizational changes; presents and communicates with business leaders and executives on a frequent basis.General Regular & Ad hoc tasks:

• Track, control, perform analysis, plan RDC spending by the required level (country, major, minor, division and Data Center)
• Provide portfolio level details for requested Data Center support
• Provide spend forecast on monthly basis
• Maintain an RDC country and Data Center spend movement Roadmap (increase / decrease)
• Provide input for RDC Fall Plan as per request
• Track and control month end closing activities
• Work closely together with Finance Organization
• Request booking correction and/or accruals, as needed
• Work closely together with other Data and Cost Analysts within RDC Organization, sharing best practices
• Work closely together with other areas of Commercial Service to understand all the spending to forecast (capital, infrastructure assets – depreciation increase / decrease)
• Ensure cost allocations are defined and booked correctly at the country and Data Center level
• Ensure the Office cost is booked correctly and part of the country labor rate
• Support RDC Leaders with reporting of spending on monthly basis
• Provide quarterly summary and analysis
• Measure spends forecast accuracy, provide bridge between forecast and actual
• Focus on the given spend target, and provide insights to ensure the target is mad
• Provide input for Business Control, support the RDC measurements
• Discover optimization opportunities
• Support special projects

Studies and Skills:

• University Finance or Accounting degree and / or
• 3-year experience finance or accounting
• Analytical skills
• Experience on Facilities area is preferred

Competencies:

• Understand all elements of RDC spending
• Proactive behavior
