Job Description

**Please note this is a 12-month contract**The incumbent is responsible for providing support to the MCPE dealer network nationally, ensuring orders and products get released in a timely manner, assist with any dealer inquiries, handling distribution of units, models, bookings, monitor dealer network procedures and prepare any necessary support and documentation for required measures and countermeasures.*RESPONSIBILITIES**Provide effective sales support to the Motorcycle-ATV-PE-Marine dealer network by:

  • Contribute to the attainment of the MCPE wholesale & retail sales objectives through daily SSG tasks.
  • Administer day to day release (wholesale) of Dealership product.
  • Liaise between Dealers, Honda Finance Inc., carriers & warehouses to ensure timely release of orders.
  • Support Dealer inquiries relating to unit requests including distribution and arrival timing.
  • Assess gaps and provide needed support documents for countermeasure proposals when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate database of Zone MCPE demo units, display models and damaged stock.
  • Participate and represent Honda in promotional events such as trade shows, rallies and events.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary degree and/or related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Power sports industry (Motorcycle, ATV, Power Equipment, Marine).
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to working in a fast-paced team environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships; strong results-orientation.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, administrative, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong PC skills with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a must.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships and all members of the team.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enjoys team building approach of management and department - shares results.
