Job Description

The incumbent will process orders from HEDs and OEMs for engines to incorporate into their manufactured products. The incumbent is responsible for providing administrative and analytical assistance, as well as completing special projects as required.*Responsibilities: *Update database with the following: link purchase forecast and firm orders to forecast spreadsheet, input release sheet to database:

  • Create master database each Ki
  • Input firm orders into master database
  • Input forecast summary into master database, link purchase forecast to forecast summary
  • Create release sheet in database, link with master database
  • Create STI summary sheet in database, link with release sheet
  • Produce month-end reports as required
  • Producing reports using Database as required
  • Processing Purchase Orders in a timely manner
Forecast and inventory:
  • Prepare forecast
  • Send out purchase forecasts to OEMs & HEDS
  • Follow up for return
  • Update in database
  • Follow up for OEM & HED engine inventory
  • Ensuring OEMS and HEDs are maintaining appropriate inventory levels
  • Assist with development of OEM competitor usage survey:
  • Prepare information survey
  • Send out information survey to OEM & HED
  • Follow up and summarize
Engine donations:
  • Solicit schools for donation
  • Explain how to apply
  • Send out steps of application process
  • Prepare donation documents
  • Send out and follow up for donation documents
  • Co-ordinate and assist SSG with preparation of sing-off documents
Completes competitive and internal pricing analysis:
  • Contacting OEMs and HEDs to obtain competitive pricing information
  • Contacting AH to obtain price list
  • Developing pricing matrix and pricing recommendation
Participates in other duties and projects as required:
  • Assisting in the development of Sales program
  • Assisting Supervisor with the preparing of PowerPoint presentations
  • Responding to requests for information from HPP
  • Writing of dealer memos and bulletins
  • Logging help desk tickets and assisting ISD to resolve engine related CICS issues
  • Submitting Magic requests to ISD for system enhancements
Completes various month-end reports by:
  • Obtaining data from Internal Database
  • Working in conjunction with Finance to complete budget analysis
Qualifications: *Administrative & program admin. Experience 3 – 5 years
  • Computer competencies 2 – 4 years
  • Prepare presentations, review sales results
  • Solicit/negotiate sales
  • Reasoning: Analyze data and situations to produce status reports and where required, recommendations
  • Strong communication skills required to effectively communicate with OEMs and HEDs and HPP.
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
  • Numerical: high – Competent mathematical skills required to Analyze and calculate pricing reports.
  • Technical: medium - Ability to manipulate Variation Table to obtain required data, provide technical support,
  • Administrative: very high, ability to process purchase orders, work in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, CICS etc.
  • Interpersonal: high, ability to interact with senior personnel at HED and OEM.
  • Research: medium, ability to source data to complete reports
  • Analytical: very strong, ability to analyze data from various reports and provide solutions to problems encountered.
  • high ability to complete tasks unsupervised
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize
