It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.The IBM Canada Advanced Studies team is looking for a dependable and highly motivated individual to play a key role in planning and delivering a virtual technical conference experience to thousands of industry professionals, academics and students in late November 2022. Responsibilities will keep pace with demonstrated ability.Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with organizing and delivering events
• Strong initiative and dependability
• Creative problem solver
• Ability to work collaboratively with remote staff
• Ability to work collaboratively with in-office and remote staff
• Must be eligible to work 4 months starting in September

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience organizing large virtual events / conferences
• Media arts experience (communications, videography, storytelling)
• Registered in a formal co-op/internship program
