Right at Home Canada is now servicing clients in Markham/Scarborough.At Right at Home Canada, we go beyond adding years to life for our clients. Our mission is to Add Life to Years. We are looking for a special person to help us achieve this goal through their outgoing personality, administrative experience, organization, communication skills and passion for caring.Work Location: Right At Home Office Administrative duties from our Markham/Scarborough office, as well as client homes, locations outside of the client’s home and other sites as needed in the Markham/Scarborough area.Job Summary:Split position - Office Administration (half-time) and PSW / client care (as assigned to families).Duties: Administrative (15-20 Hours / Week to start)

  • Answering client calls
  • Scheduling and Billing
  • Payroll preparation
  • Assisting Care Planners with PSW applicants, hiring and training, orientation
  • Working with your Care Team to coordinate care.
Duties: Personal Care Provider(up to 15-20 hours per week)
  • Any aspect of assistance needed in our client’s Care Plan such as personal care, physical assistance, companionship, home support, specialty care, meal preparation
Qualifications for this position:· With personal car.· 3+ years of PSW experience· Police Criminal Reference Check· Current certificate in standard first-aid and CPR· Current recognized PSW training certificate· COVID 19-Fully vaccinated· Specialty care (i.e. Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Chronic Conditions)· Service industry experience and/or client-service oriented personality· Administrative experience - general or medical· High-energy, positive attitude· Superstar personality!· Ability to work well in a team· Ability to motivate your fellow personal care providers· Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and on telephone· Ability to multi-task· High level of computer literacy· Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team· Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregiving· Must be passionate, patient, caring and committed.
