The purpose of this role is to support UW Optimization team in managing vendors and related tasks, in a timely and accurate manner while identifying opportunities for process simplifications and improvements.This role will expose the successful candidates to valuable insights on data/services usage and to external network of industry leaders service providers.The successful candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, capability to work independently, meet the deadlines and take initiative to recommend improvement to current processes.Job Responsibilities:Record, reconcile and enter vendors invoices for processing.Create and maintain monthly usage reports for various UW reports (such as MVR)Coordinate file exchanges with vendors based on business needs (e.g. inspections list)Provide high level analysis on various UW reports performance (e.g. % on MVRs with convictions)Monitor vendors performance from an SLA /quality perspectiveIdentify and communicate any UW reports usage anomalies for further investigationDocument current workflows and recommend process improvementsWork closely with various areas (internal and external) to ensure various reports are available on timePoint of contact for supplier BAU inquiries (e.g. confirm coverage on a policy)Maintain and validate user listsSupport distribution channels to obtain proper authorization for system ID’s (e.g. IDs for online quoting)Experience/Skills required3 - 5 years prior insurance industry experience in property and casualtyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelor’s degreeCIP designationAnalyticalOrganized and focused on timely completion of tasks/analysisAdministrative and reporting abilitiesSolid understanding of business processesExperience with UW systems (e.g. Guidewire/Mainframe)Experience with insurance industry practices/workflowsWhat you’ll getCompetitive rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.Exceptional Career Development opportunities.We’ll support your professional development education.Additional Information:Aviva Canada has an accommodation process in place to provide accommodations for employees with disabilities.
