Description Summary:Marketing Operations Intern will join China Telecom Americas Marketing team reporting to Manager, Marketing and Sales Analytics, and will work closely with the MNC Enterprise team Canada, based in Toronto. Intern role will be assisting with turning leads into qualified opportunities by partnering with marketing and sales to create and execute on lead generation campaigns. This position requires heavy outbound phone calling, qualification, consultative selling skills and tight collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Channel to generate new opportunities. This person will be expected to report on qualification, call and email activity, and stay informed on all products and the Experience Management industry in general.Main Tasks & Responsibilities:Follow the management direction to support accomplishing goals of customer acquisition, loyalty and retention.Communication with Marketing and Sales teams including product, promotion and system function development requirement.Develop opportunities for the sales team from outbound prospecting and marketing and/or Channel generated leads.Interact with prospects via phone and email with a high attention to detail.Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectivesDevelop and execute on a strong prospecting strategy, including identifying customer pain points and addressing the value for the customer in your messaging.Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using Salesforce.Learn CTA products, effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections and competitive questions.Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities.Disseminate opportunities to appropriate Sales Managers, educating them as necessary about the opportunity.Partner with Marketing on driving attendance to events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences.Collaborate with your field sales team as a prospecting subject matter expert, providing best practices and executing on projects specific to your territory.Essential Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor or master’s degree in the relevant field.Data-sensitive, detail-oriented, and reliable.Experience with analytics and planning tools including Google Analytics, AdWords, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and others.Exceptional written and oral communications skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office software, such as Word and Excel.Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.).Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative marketing solutions and business decisions.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written, face-to-face and over the phone interactions with partners and all levels of staff and management English.Ability to articulate complex topics and build rapport with prospects and stakeholders remotely.Self-motivation and persistence in the face of rejection or adversityOpenness to feedback and coaching.Salesforce or comparable CRM knowledge – preferred, not required.Outreach or an automated sales engagement platform knowledge, preferred not required.
