Job Description

Subsidiary: Miller Paving LimitedAs a Plant Manufacturer & Heavy Equipment Operator, You Will:

  • Operate a Front End Loader in a safe and efficient manner
  • Stockpile material for operations
  • Load trucks with aggregates
  • Perform daily maintenance on the Loader and Plant
  • Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring:
  • Mechanically inclination will be considered an asset
  • Previous manufacturing and operating experience will be considered an asset
  • Effective communication both written and verbal with the ability to follow instructions closely
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with frequent/constant standing, bending, crouching etc in inclement working environment on construction sites
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work extended hours, and occasionally weekends and nights as required
  • Effective team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn all facets of the operation
  • Valid driver’s license
