Position: Production Supervisor Location: Markham, ONSalary: $75,000 - $85,000 per yearStatus:Permanent Full-TimeIndustry: ManufacturingShift: Days and/or Afternoons Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the production team, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Ensure production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols followed
• Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to schedules and targets.
• Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Identify and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency and workflow.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work on a STRAIGHT DAYS and/or AFTERNOON SHIFT
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with production software.
