Are you ready to join usWhat we need:This position will be responsible for booking appointments as well as registration for our Patient Scheduling and Registration Departments. Additional responsibilities will include filing, responding to outside requests, daily schedule maintenance and providing scheduling support to various departments.Work Schedule :The successful candidate must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. Shifts will be 0730-1530, 0830-1630, 1500-2300Please note schedules are subject to change based on operational needs.Compensation:BAND CUP C03: $ 23.90 - $26.89What you Bring to Oak Valley Health:Previous experience with patient scheduling and order entry in a high volume, fast paced environment is requiredMinimum one year completed in a Medical Office Administration programProficient computer skills, Meditech experience preferredExcellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasksExcellent public relations and communication skills with a pleasant telephone mannerAbility to trouble shoot and problem solveStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of the teamEvidence of good attention to detailDemonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standardDemonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as requiredOak Valley Health takes pride in serving some of Canada’s most diverse communities.
