Job Description

We are currently hiring a Forklift Operator for our clients in Markham, ON. Shift days: Monday to Friday.Pay rate- $19-$20/hrLocation- MarkhamResponsibilities:

• Receiving and grading scrap metal based on company standards
• Loading and Offloading Roll-Off Bins and Trailers
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment.
• Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

• Experience operating all Forklift Machines
• Must have valid Forklift license.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Walking in the distribution center and around the area with great frequency.
• Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation.
• Have a positive attitude, be dependable and reliable.
