Inn on the Lake is committed to the promotion of all things Canadian in culinary, wine and spirits.The position requires someone extremely creative and innovative with exceptional customer skills as we operate in an open kitchen where the chef is an integral part of the total guest experience. As this is an open kitchen you must be able to multi task and deal with many distractions. Menus are created daily. We serve primarily to registered guests, but do have a 46 seat banquet room as well. Inn on the Lake is also involved in a number of special events where our signature dishes are a highlight.We are looking for someone with a minimum 3 - 5 years cooking experience. Demonstrated abilities and knowledge in cooking with foraged and local Canadian products. Must have a sound knowledge of gardening/greenhouse as we do grow a lot of our produce. Creativity in canning and pickling is a must.Inn on the Lake is well known across Canada as a culinary leader and the successful applicant will carry this forward. We deal with a large clientele base from around the world. Knowledge and demonstrated abilities in a number of cooking styles is a must.This is a full time position for a cook (NOC 6322) of 35 - 40 hours per week at a salary range of $23.00 to 25.00 per hour includes 4% holiday pay, plus gratuities.A housing allowance may also be availableSuccessful applicant must have a valid drivers license, class 4 or willingness to acquire.Quick Apply
