Job Description

Recreation Facility Operator:The City of Martensville has an immediate Permanent Full-Time opening.Recreation Facility Operators are responsible for the daily maintenance and operations of City facilities grounds, parks, playing fields, playgrounds, and related equipment.See full Job Description for detailed Education, Experience, and Certifications.The ideal candidate will be at Level II; however, applicants at the Level I will also be considered.Hours:

  • This is an in-scope Full-Time hourly position.
  • Normal work schedule (approximate):
    • May - August: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm ; evening/weekend work may be required
    • Sept. - April: Evening & week-end work is required based on a rotational schedule
Wage Rates:
  • Wage rates are governed by the CUPE Local 2582 Collective Agreement (2022 rates):
Starting Rate / Rate After One Year
  • Level I: $22.38 / $24.97
  • Level II: $24.52 / $27.14
  • Level III: $26.70 / $29.32
