CNC AND FORKLIFT OPERATORCedar Ridge Designs Inc. supplies architectural millwork to architects, the construction industry, interior designers, and individual commercial/residential clients. We specialize in custom millwork and cabinetry for residential, retail, corporate, and restaurant projects. Cedar Ridge is located just outside the beautiful town of Maxville, Ontario, which is 45 minutes east of Ottawa. It is a perfect commuting distance, with minimal traffic and free parking.We presently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced CNC and Forklift Operator. You will be responsible for ensuring our company produces quality parts specific to engineering drawings and client standards. As the machine operator, the successful candidate will be a highly skilled professional, with excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Please note: This is a rural location and you must have your own transportation.Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage CNC machine to perform different jobs.
• Oversee the machine while it executes the task.
• Ensure the CNC operates in accordance within the safety guidelines of the company.
• Oversee the machine while it executes the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
• Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
• Conduct daily CNC machine assessments and maintenance to guarantee functionality.
• Use forklift to unload trucks and move materials from warehouse to shop

Requirements

• 1 year experience as CNC operator
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good computer skills
• Up to date forklift certificate
• Ability to lift heavy materials (sheet goods)
• Own transportation to Maxville location – rural area

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $18.00-$21.00 per hourBenefits:
