Job Description

We are looking for a financial officer to take charge of the financial health of our company by administrating accounting operations in our ever-growing company. Qualifications:

  • Minimum experience level At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience required.
  • Essential qualifications Must have Sage 50 Canada experience and be comfortable handling payroll.
  • Preferred certifications Bookkeeping diploma, CPA designation, or equivalent experience is a strong asset.
  • You should also have excellent organizational skills to meet all deadlines in the monthly, quarterly and yearly needs for our company.
  • You must be able to handle a fast-paced office environment.
  • The ability to process incoming freight and outgoing freight would be an asset.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all company books including A/P, A/R, bank statements and other reports.
  • Reconcile and balance accounts.
  • Manage employee payroll services.
  • Record cash receipts and expenditures.
  • Issue financial statements as and when required.
  • Prepare all tax and other financial reports.
  • Monitor fixed assets and manage invoices.
  • Maintain historical integrity of information for audits and statistics.
  • Organize and maintain filing system
  • Ensure compliance with governing regulations.
  • Meet with manger to discuss budget needs and resources.
  • Process paperwork for incoming and outgoing freight.
  • Answer phones/ take messages.
Details:
  • Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm.
  • Benefits after 3 Months.
  • $28 per Hour.
