Job Description

Cook member is responsible for cooking and preparing ingredients and menu items for restaurant, take out and banquet events.Cook member will maintain a complete knowledge of menu items, ingredient and procedures at all times.Hours: 20-32 hours* Pay based on experience *Reporting to : Vice PresidentQualifications

• Cooking and Kitchen Experience.
• Must be willing to work in a fast paced team environment
• Work with team to come up with weekly specials and new ideas
• Capability of maintaining a clean, tidy and organized work station
• Ability to respond under pressure and adjust to demand
• Outstanding multitasking capability and willingness to work in a highly demanding position
• Good communication skills and great ability to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to keep the big picture in mind
• Experience with broasters an asset
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends

Certifications

• Safe Food Handling certification is a must
• Smart Serve Certification
