Job Description

Zone 3 Business Solutions Inc is looking for an experienced, motivated Field Service Technician focused on providing an exemplary customer service experience. You will work out of our Medicine Hat office, with access to the rest of the team in Calgary, Red Deer and Lethbridge. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.Zone 3 is an Alberta-based office equipment dealer focused on providing the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.Duties include:

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches;
  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks;
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions;
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations;
  • Maintain training on current equipment;
  • Document processes … including timely and detailed service reports;
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems;
  • Follow and support policies and procedures set forth by Zone 3 Business Solutions Ltd;
  • Build and maintain positive, effective relationships with customers and team members;
  • Liaise with sales and administrative staff;
  • Warehouse duties, including inventory, delivery, shipping & receiving; and
  • Other relevant duties and projects as assigned by Management.
Position Requirements*:*
  • Experience in the service of Konica Minolta and Lexmark MFPs is a definite asset.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment;
  • A strong mechanical & electrical aptitude, with proven Field Service experience, is an asset;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle customer complaints in a positive & proactive manner;
  • Own vehicle and a good driving record a must;
  • A+ Certification an asset; and
  • Familiarity with MS Office.
