Our eight manufacturing complexes in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, an unparalleled storage, transportation and distribution network in North America, and logistics capabilities enabling a global reach underpin our strategy to leverage our unique capabilities to accelerate the worlds transition to clean energy.Function:MaintenanceJob Summary:Reporting to the Manager - Maintenance, the Superintendent, Turnaround & Planning is responsible for oversight of the Maintenance- Planning Department.We are seeking a motivated Engineer looking to take the next step in their leadership career to lead our large-scale capital turnarounds worth up to $30M.What youll do:

• This position is responsible for managing & co-ordination of the following:
  • Scope, strategy, planning, budgeting, and execution
  • Work with planning team to develop schedules to include maintenance, operations, and project tasks.
  • Identify resources to facilitate outages while providing leadership & guidance to all participants during execution
  • Monitoring safety, environmental, cost, schedule, inspection, and work quality
  • Provide daily update meetings and coordinate with production to facilitate timing of startup activities
  • Reporting to Senior Management & key stakeholders
• Implement industry best practices & align with CFs Corporate Turnaround Team for execution of Medicine Hat Complex Outages.
• Provide leadership to direct reports to meet strategic needs - 4 Maintenance planners - (3) Mechanical (1) Instrument & Electrical.
• This position may be required to periodically travel throughout North America & UK as necessary for assigned responsibilities & training.

Required Skills

• Professional Engineer (P. Eng eligible) with proven technical experience within maintenance or engineering in a Petrochemical or Refining industry, preferably in Ammonia and/or Urea production facilities considered an asset.
• This is a supervisory position and experience in mentoring and performance management would be considered an asset.
• Leadership: Demonstrated knowledge, skills, abilities, and attributes to perform successfully in the key areas of People Leadership, Results Leadership, Thought Leadership & Self Leadership.
• Time Management: Identifies, establishes priorities, and executes tasks to consistently deliver results within required timelines.

• Judgment and decision-making: An understanding of your own personal knowledge and limitations when considering long and short-term decisions and recommendations.
